The export potential of the Russian-Azerbaijani negotiations at the Caspian Oil&Gas exhibition exceeded $ 20 million

On June 2, the 28th International Caspian Oil & Gas 2023 Exhibition ended, at which 39 Russian enterprises presented their products for the oil and gas industry with the support of the Russian Export Center.

 

In total, within the framework of the Caspian Oil&Gas exhibition, the participants of the Made in Russia collective stand held more than 170 business meetings, the potential of which is estimated at more than $20 million. For example, following the results of the exhibition, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between a Russian manufacturer of equipment for pumping wells and one of the leading universities in Azerbaijan.

 

 

The number of foreign companies participating in the negotiations is more than 20. Among them are companies in the gas and oil sector, research institutes, distributors and dealers of specialized equipment for the fuel and energy sector, manufacturers of high-tech products and more.

 

“Of course, all our brands are very well known in the Azerbaijani land. This year we have brought new equipment, a new line of equipment. And we are pleased to see quite a lot of interest in Russian products from both large state-owned oil and gas companies and from oil and gas sappers, suppliers of the oil and gas industry of Azerbaijan.”

– said Nuri Guliyev, head of the representative office of the Russian Export Center in Azerbaijan.

 

 

In 2023, Russian exhibitors brought a large number of unique equipment, machines and aggregates to the exhibition.

The great interest of Azerbaijani companies was aroused by high-cross-country trucks with a lifting capacity of up to 31 tons, unique amphibious equipment (airboats and everywhere- / swampers) with a lifting capacity of up to 5 tons, as well as industrial turbines, cable and wire products, measuring and laboratory equipment for the fuel and energy sector, high-tech PPE from the most dangerous occupational risks and much more.

 

During the exhibition, much attention was paid to the issues of digitalization and automation in the oil and gas industry, in which Russian companies are traditionally strong.

 

 

Russian companies were able to offer their Azerbaijani partners effective technological solutions in the field of accounting and dispatching of industrial facilities, data storage and analysis, integrated automation of fuel and energy complex enterprises and other industries with a continuous technological cycle and a number of other popular software products.

 

The Caspian Oil & Gas 2023 exhibition opened in Baku on May 31. The official opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The Made in Russia exposition was visited by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Azerbaijan Mikhail Bocharnikov
